I would respect her and leave her be. You could listen to her if it helps hurt. Don't come onto her when she is upset and vulnerable. She needs space and understanding. Be a friend.
I would offer her support and if she needed therapy I'd take care of it 🙂

I am willing to bet that there are a LOT of people who have made that statement. With the passage of time and helpful friends they eventually get over it and start dating again. The best thing to do is just be their friend.

I think if they really cared for her, then her emotional well being is way more important than if they could ever date her. They should support in any way, or no way, she's willing to allow.
