Did it for a long period near divorce, since 18 years ago.
I did´t ignore the call´s for some reassons to be said:
- She is the mother of my girls and I don´t forget that.
- Daughters where with me, she asked about them sometimes.
- I supported her finantialy above the formaly required to give her a begining point for her personal proffesional growth (and ocassionaly she needed an extra).
I certainly ignored other issues if appeared, excepted if related to healthe or emergencies.
Those calls ended when she got married again.

@Zaphod42 It's been 20 years (this month actually) since my divorce was final...I see my ex on occasion, but I don't even talk to her unless I absolutely have to and even then it's nothing more than cordial brief business-like interaction. She has never tried to contact me which as I said in my reply...makes me extremely happy.
