That drives me fecking bonkers. I have a friend like that. Been online buddies for a year even though we only live 10 miles from each other. He is such a tease. I just cut off communication with him last week. He is so damn beautiful its hard to stay away but...fuck that guy.
Hold your ground girl. We always want the seemingly unattainable. Cut him off. He will be back. I put good money on it.

@thinkbigaboutlife Don't block him. That is retaliation for how you feel now but that will change over time. Instead, focus your energy on things you want to do. Your happiness is key.
hmm, I will think about it...
thanks for your time...

IDK, I don't really think about it but I do put those I talk to daily first. I am not going to make someone i talk to frequently wait while i;m responding to someone who decides to speak to me once a month.
apparently they want to make you wonder more, thus they think they will be more attractive in your eyes if they ghost your a while. Some will do that too when they realize you ''like'' them... it's scary to some. It's a man thing. Don't take it personally. He'll come around if he likes you too. Good luck.
@thinkbigaboutlife well I was just asking in general kinda. 😅 But I especially don't play games like that if I feel this is how the situation is I would end the relationship/friendship. If he really likes me there should be no need to come around he should express it openly and not want to play mind games if he's mature that is.
@isupportalexwubbels really? I heard that only men do that. I have never heard of women doing that unless they think he is so annoying. I am not talking about "playing hard to get". Yes, women do that too. But the talking, talking, and suddenly disappearing or ignoring, no, it's a man thing.
@Stark ah sorry. I thought you were in that situation presently.

I'm wondering if they're looking for something more than friendship. The ones who are seeking friends will keep talking with you even if nothing else happens.

@bijouxbroussard Yes, we will.
@bijouxbroussard so if they're looking for something more you think they'll stop talking to you?
bijouxbroussard · F
@Stark If it doesn't seem like it's happening; no pictures, etc.

He forgot...or maybe some bigger boobs passed by....

It's annoying isn't it? 😒

In my case it has been illness once and twice it was business trips where the hotel either didn't have wifi or else my employer would not pay for it. You could try asking the person where the have been if you are really curious

I really don’t know.
When I’ve had people do that, they usually have outside things and aren’t even on here for a while.....but, there are always exceptions.

Do you mean online interactions only?
@SW-User no in person not online. I hardly get on here as is let alone speaking to people regularly.

@Stark Like you mentioned it's not a gender specific phenomenon. Before Facebook what you're describing would have likely been considered classically "flaky" behavior, but I think there's enough good science to suggest social media has re-engineered how we interact with everyone in our lives on all platforms, including real life, whether we realize it or not. This is the new norm.

A lot of people are only on here for bits at a time...life happens.

Run out of things to talk about..

@SW-User I think it's mostly they find someone who will talk dirty to them. Some of us just don't do that with just anyone.
SW-User
Maybe they simply want to slow things down

He got others on the line
@Dayeshadow not always the case. There could be many reasons why he would do that.
