There are so many prejudices about relationships and sex when it comes to big age gaps. However, from a biblical perspective, it is not uncommon. Mary was probably around 12-15 years old. Joseph was older, but the age varies in traditions; he was probably a grown man in his 30s or 40s rather than an old man.

I have always liked older men. They are nicer and, above all, better sexually.

A dynamic combination of the older partner's stability, experience, and in some cases, financial security with the younger partner's energy and spontaneity.

For older married couples, it can be a boost in their relationship if the woman allows her husband to have sexual relations with younger women.

There was a 21 year age gap between my husband and I. We were married 18 years. It definitely made me have a higher respect for him, he had a sense of confidence and security in himself that you don't find in younger people.

@PatientlyWaiting25 quite true.. during my young age, I had my own quest for knowledge and experiments which gradually adds to my experience and maturity. So handling a relationship was difficult during young age as compared to now. And there is a lot of experience and knowledge to share with a young girl as compared to a older woman who has her own experience.
