@FelicityDavenport what’s number one?
FelicityDavenport · 26-30, F
@Ferise1 Trust!

Room to breathe, coupled with the certainty that when you need your partner, they will be there.

I’m not talking about open marriage. I mean if you love surfing, and your partner hates or fears it, the bond between you is both elastic and strong enough for you to go do your thing knowing home is your safe place.

This does not include surfing AND cheating on your partner.

I'm old-ish and today it's all about trust. I want to share intimacy with someone but my experiences makes it much more difficult. Getting older isn't only about looks. There's nothing more humiliating to overcome than continue smiling after a trust broken

Hard to say 1 thing alone: Respect, trust, communication, loyalty, (com)passion. Relationships are multi-layered beasts with strong, sensitive makeup, and each one is different. Too many people are not eager or willing to realize a relationship is a choice.
FelicityDavenport · 26-30, F
Sex, I can get - and do get - anywhere, but trust? That's a rare commodity, I think, out in the real world.

Very important to me.

Mutual trust. EVERYTHING else stems from trust. That's right...EVERYTHING!

Honesty and intimacy.

If you can't be intimate, you are really not being honest either.

No point in the relationship.

And if you can't be honest, the relationship will fail.

Independence from one another so that every action is one of genuine love and not need from the lack of it.

Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@swirlie Love is the most important component in any relationship.. just the degree varies but the feeling remains.

That the guy or girl you're finally getting intimate with in their Designer-inspired basement apartment, don't have their parents occupying the top two floors of the house.
