What are the red flags/deal breakers that you don't want in a relationship?

For me, it's DEFINITELY women with an OnlyFans account. From what I've heard and what I've seen, it's best and safe to say that it's a turn off and I stay clear of them. I'm sure most guys wouldn't like this, either. It's a boundary that a woman I want to be with shouldn't cross, as she'll only get ONE chance to respect it. One...

And if I were to be with her and find out that she has OnlyFans, I'll give her the ultimatum: lose the account, or you'll lose me.

Last time I asked this question, I got a lot of backlash because of this deal breaker: dating single moms. I guess a guy's preference, with logical reasons, are red flags apparently. 🤦🏾‍♂️

A girl that constantly asks questions about me but gets evasive when I ask her a question. There are a lot more "hypothetical" things that are far worse but this is actually something I experienced. It was weird and made think she was hiding something.

@WizardofOz I picked up that if a girl is hiding something, she'll probably gaslight you and say that you're being paranoid or insecure. Evasion is another one.

@xSiFiGamer2016x Excellent point! I actually told her that I've answered all her questions, so why won't she answer mine? I jokingly said, "are you hiding something? Like a murder conviction"? She didn't even crack a smile, all she said was, "my life just isn't interesting". Strange!

@WizardofOz Harmless jokes nowadays are offensive to others, but it wouldn't hurt to crack a smile. And it is strange for her to not answer and saying her life isn't interesting. Maybe she's saying her life is boring? 🤔

For me it's not putting your shopping cart back at the store. Sounds silly, but the principle of only doing the right thing when there are actual negative consequences will spill over into other situations.

@eventtemple123 When I go to big-box hardware stores like Bunnings I always take the trolley back or find a proper trolley bay to put it in. Almost nobody does that, so it probably means I'm suitably for almost nobody because I Actually Care (tm).

@zonavar68 You're part of a select fine few then.

I couldn't ever date someone who didn't know how to communicate productively. I grew up in a stormy household with lots of yelling and anger; I hate the feeling of having to walk on eggshells because someone can't control their temper.

Not being in the relationship right now during Hell times.
xSiFiGamer2016x · 26-30, M
@FreestyleArt Sometimes it's best to not be in one, especially marriage in America.
I am not qualified to 'qualify' anyone. I am not perfect.

Going through my phone and handbag

@meggie
So, going through your phone and handbag is a dealbreaker for you? I would say that kind of activity from someone would be worthy of a phone call to the police, to say nothing of it being a dealbreaker in the relationship.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
That would be a turn off for me too.

Then date a single mum, at least she probably won’t have an Onlyfans account.
xSiFiGamer2016x · 26-30, M
@Gingerbreadspice Then that will go against what I've been saying for so long. Even my own mother said it's not a good idea to date them.

When the guy who takes me out on a date shows interest in the same guys that I'm attracted to as they walk past.
SandWitch · 26-30, F
@zonavar68
What you're saying is absolutely true when the shoe's on the other foot. It's also very un-cool for the guy who takes me out on a date, if he notices me staring at other guys as they walk past which is why it's imperative that women do not make their interest in other guys obvious.
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@SandWitch What's funny is that at my work (rail freight) most of the women are lesbians and when I work with them it's really fun to check out women and see what they think of my observations and vice-versa. But being lesbian they will never date me, so it's 'safe' fun.

@MrSmooTh Just like going out with and trying to have a relationship with a woman who's a sexual health nurse. I have personal experience with how that doesn't work (including other reasons).

@zonavar68 Have you seen these dating podcasts. Those women are basically what you described, and it's that sad. 😆
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@xSiFiGamer2016x No I haven't but I have plenty of experience trying out dating sites (with very little positive result), hence I no longer pay for any of them.
