@Slade
Yes, I'm serious.
From the post I linked above:
"Ukraine I think is the first nation with no operational navy to sink a flagship....named after the opposing nation's capital city no less.
This after last month they sunk an amphibious assault ship.
Now Russia claims they lost the ship to a fire which....that was a choice. So they think admitting their navy is completely incompetent was the smarter option than admitting a defeat in battle. Can't make this shit up.
Guess the Moskva whatever the cause is just the Snake Island reef now. 😆"

@Thinkerbell Gonna have to take a look😋

Been in one before turned out bad, people got hurt, i was also hurt, never again...
Its not worth the pain, nor the hurt. I realized that if being with one person is not good enough, then im not with the right person. And also, its not fair for the other parties cause you always love one more than the other and no real relationship can come out of it unless you choose one of them....
I know ill get hate fron this, but its my point of view for having been in one years ago

nope. there is no reason to be in a relationship if it is open.
Fluffybull · F
@akindheart 👏👏👏♥️

No. I won’t be able to handle it.
@CookieCrumbs no way, I could.

Not if you/we plan to take any of those relationships seriously.

No point for me. The only person that wants to have sex with me is my wife, she has horrible taste in men btw. Poor woman 😂
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I am in an old school open relationship where we just ignore each other's very occasional infidelities.
Jeephikelove · 51-55, F
I couldn’t do it, I don’t share, but I definitely see how there are perks to an open relationship.
Peaches · F
It's the most re-dick-a-less thing I've ever heard of!🤪👎
@Peaches I heard tigger’s voice in my head saying that. 🤣
No. I think that would just bring hurt and bad feelings. But i don't judge those that do it

I was in an open relationship for many years , then my partner started to change into some one I didnt really like and last year I finally left which I should have done many years ago .
Being in an open relationship provided neither of you have a jelous streak is great also provided you set boundaries , be honest with each other and trust each other . Once the trust is gone so is the relationship .

I have been in an open relationship with my boyfriend since we started dating 12 years ago at my insistance.I'm too much of a nympho for one man to sexually satisfy me.I have FWBs and date other men all the time.Without an open relationship I would cheat on him just like I have cheated on all my previous boyfriends.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
The wife and I played around with that for a bit. I didn't really have a problem with it (she wanted to screw an old friend from college). Unfortunately, I was never in a position to take advantage of it, myself.
No but if I felt v comfortable n in love w my partner id be open to explore sex w others w them if that's smth they were into too
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@PepsiColaP Yes I think we need to define if the sex is with just sexual partners or full blown relationships. I'm not into sister wives or anything, I just think pure sexual monogamy is not always what must be followed.

I personally wouldn’t be open to it, but if others like it and are ok with it. Then it’s none of my business
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Na I like being the center of attention

Not for this girl. To each their own.

Nope

They might sound great in theory but the reality is they're just not very practical for most relationships. People can easily get jealous, insecure or they'll develop too much of an emotional attachment to 'other' people, etc.
So they only work in very specific situations, and only if you can both separate loving someone and having sex with someone as two completely different things.

I know two women who seem to find it works well, though maybe in those cases, it's not really open, per se. Both these women have a husband and a boyfriend and they share different parts of their lives with each.
I'll admit that I occasionallly wonder about the idea, but I very much doubt that I could make it work. I don't compartmentalize well.
Success, or not, depends very much on the people involved. Good communication is absolutely essential.

No. I need a set boundary. I feel like a s/o is a monogamous thing but I have no issues with a fwb.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
I was not in one myself but I did avail myself of one once. It was a very enjoyable weekend!
Fluffybull · F
Don't see the point. Either be married, or be single and sleep with whom you like.
Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
They reek of drama and complications. Not for me.

Never been in one. Probably wouldn't be comfortable having one either, would at least require a mountain of conversations with my wife.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Yep and yep. Yet not expecting anything at all. 😔
Just the attitude even in the replies says why won't mention anything further. 😔

Not a moral judgment, but open relationships have about a snowball in hell's chance of succeeding.
MasterDvdC · 70-79, M
Never been in one. Never an option in the past. These days it wouldn't be a problem.
AsianEyezChulaRp · 31-35, F
No way he can leave and fine someone who’s into that

No way...The thoughts of kissing a woman soon after she gave another guy a blowjob makes me sick.
