Just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Very interesting, different. Also loved The Women by Kristin Hannah.

I recommend "A Canticle for Leibowitz" by Walter M. Miller, Jr. Ostensibly a science fiction novel, it is a classic.

Why not a book of short stories. If one reads so-so, move on to the next.
