Dissolution by Nicholas Binge - it's not bad, similar to, but not as good as Blake Crouch's Dark Matter....what do you mean by "serious" "Man's Search for Meaning" by V. Frankl is pretty serious....
I really liked Broken Paradise by Cecilia Samartin. It's about the introduction of communism in Cuba. It's a fictional story with fictional characters, which takes place in both the US and Cuba, during that time period. It's very good though incredibly sad, and it's easy to read.
I'm about to start a book called the Natural Navigator about finding your way in the outdoor landscape, and also one of the short crime novels featuring Inspector Maigret.
I got a delivery earlier today of 8 secondhand books - a deal of 4-for-3. Two by Len Deighton, two by Alexander McCall Smith and four by Mary Wesley. I'm just finishing a book of short stories by John Updike, "Your Lover Just Called"
I never read them as a kid, so I bought a complete set of L. Frank Baum's OZ books and have been reading them the past day or two. Also working on Volume 5 of the Complete Short Works of Roger Zelazny.
I wish I could read books I think it would help my at night but I'm a slow reader and soon I find myself just looking at the words and not reading them lol
