@geoam1 I don't remember his titles, but I remember one paperback about the Arctic and a ship...something like that.

What sorts of genres of literature do you enjoy? I can make recommendations in many genres.

@4meAndyou It seems like there are some life lessons in each book. I like that. 🙂
4meAndyou · F
@Musicman Exactly. I like my fictional heroes to have morals! ☺️

@4meAndyou That's why I like the Ashes series. Ben Raines is the hero. He imparts life lessons too. After reading the books it made me want to change and clean up aspects of my life.

Some of my favorite authors are Terry Goodkind, Diana Gabaldon, and Anne McCaffrey.

@4meAndyou They are excellent! So much more in the books but the story follows them quite nicely. I usually don’t like shows that are based off of the books I read because they don’t always follow the story that well. But Outlander does. I at first didn’t like the man they chose for the main male character but after I started watching it, he grew on me. In reading the books I always pictured him much larger than her.

@Luckylu For quite a while, at work, there was a woman who was a major fan. I was her secret santa, and got her the t shirt...🤣🤣🤣...you should have heard the way she talked about "Jaimie"...practically drooling...🤣🤣🤣

@4meAndyou I loved the character in the book, I never did completely accept the actor in the place of my imagination, but the actor was enough to allow me enough interest in watching the series.

That would be William W. Johnstone. He writes a series called The Ashes. There is 32 books in the series. I own them all and have read them a minimum of three times. Certain books close to ten times.
Pawpaw2molly · 61-69, M
@Musicman Live this series as well
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@Pawpaw2molly Have you ever read his Westerns? 🙂
Pawpaw2molly · 61-69, M
@Musicman I have read a number and have two on my to read shelf
Clovenhoof is about Lucifer getting kicked out of hell by St. Peter and having to live with a bunch of boarding house residents in Manchester, England, and their comedic exploits, each subsequent sequel is more hilarious.

The Marnie Baranuik series is about a Daysitter for a Revenant (Vampire), who is also a paranormal investigator.

Mindjack is set in the future where everyone can read each other's minds, and one teenage girl who can mind control others.

The Farseer Trilogy is a swords and sorcery adventure where the young bastard son of a Prince is taken in and trained to become an assassin.

And I'm currently listening to this audiobook series on youtube.
