Who is your favorite author or book series?

@Luckylu Never heard of Diana Gabalson, but I am reading Terry Goodkind right now, and have read the entire Dragons of Pern series, AND the Ship Who Sang, and a few others by Anne McCaffrey.

@4meAndyou Diana Gabaldon is the author who wrote the Outlander series of books the tv show is based off of.

@Luckylu Oooo!!! I've seen all of Outlander up till when the cabin blows up. None past that. I didn't realize there were books!!!! I'll bet the library has them. ☺️

@4meAndyou They are excellent! So much more in the books but the story follows them quite nicely. I usually don’t like shows that are based off of the books I read because they don’t always follow the story that well. But Outlander does. I at first didn’t like the man they chose for the main male character but after I started watching it, he grew on me. In reading the books I always pictured him much larger than her.

@Luckylu For quite a while, at work, there was a woman who was a major fan. I was her secret santa, and got her the t shirt...🤣🤣🤣...you should have heard the way she talked about "Jaimie"...practically drooling...🤣🤣🤣

@4meAndyou I loved the character in the book, I never did completely accept the actor in the place of my imagination, but the actor was enough to allow me enough interest in watching the series.
