@CountScrofula That's just my point though, he did the right things for the wrong reasons. It's called the Golding special maneuver. It turned out to be the winning move from a historical standpoint but he did it for the improper causes.

@CountScrofula The difference is, despite them both being shitheads, Churchill managed to stay on the right side of the fence (by accident) while Musk has not. Musk has actively set up back. He's made the situation worse. Churchill looked up to the wrong people, the example you gave of Mussolini was excellent, but his insistence on fighting the Nazis as opposed to make peace with them, even if driven from the wrong side of the moral spectrum, turned out to be the right thing to do. As where Musk's groveling before the military industrial complex in exchange for his big money contract has severed the head of space exploration and will prevent us from being successful now.
