I swear I just sat down for a minute, and now the weekend's almost over

funny you should mention that. friday night we went to a sporting event, when normally "sports" night outs are held on saturday. and my hockey team didn't play last night so it didn't feel like saturday. i woke up at 4am this morning thinking i gotta go to work....so for me it's a bonus when i realized it's only sunday 🥳

I had a wonderful 3 day weekend and about to head out to a farmers market for some local apples and other baked goodness

Positive side; the weather has been beautiful. Only negative; home team lost last night 5-2. I’m retired but agree with @RebelRaven weekends should be three days!

Pretty chill, it did feel like time flew by though. I cooked a pot of Jamaican stew beef and made rice and peas to go with it. I also submitted a manuscript to a literary agent for review. All that's left to do is shave my head and hop in the shower.

My weekend was spent alone but in fantastic fashion and as tired as I am right now, I feel so much better that I did on Friday.
