I think I’m finally on the mend, so it’s back to work for me today.

All I’ve really gotta do is make it through today, and then I’m done for the week… which is nice.

Would be nice if that meant coming back to things handled… but let’s be honest, I already know it won’t be.
I cover for everyone else when they’re out. Somehow that doesn’t circle back.

But, that's life.

Just do your work and go home

You deserve a raise.

Glad to hear. Give what you're capable of today .. and keep your recovery going.
@BrandNewMan they took all i had already and quite frankly, i have nothing left to give out right now
Hope your day goes well and you're not going back before you're ready. 🫶

Glad you are feeling better.

As to those that didn't have your back, tonight they will be visited by three Chipper ghosts...

I'm happy you are feeling better, almost as normal as you will ever be. Have a good day!
@exexec hahaaaa you made me laugh

I’ve only recently realized the self-love involved in saying no. I know it’s hard to do when you have the heart that you do, but please try to use that word every now and then. Those on the receiving end of it will adjust accordingly.

Take care of yourself today and push those fluids.
@PerfectionOfTheHeart got my big water bottle full. And you're right, I've always had the problem of not being able to say no. It's why I'm always in over my head lol
Harmonium1923 · 56-60, M
@PerfectionOfTheHeart @Bexsy Someone told me once that the word “No” is a complete sentence. It’s good advice.
@Harmonium1923 I'm trying to remember that

Glad you’re feeling better. Just get through today and call it a win. My work is very tiring, I just keep telling myself "One day, one shift. Then you’re free. Don’t carry what isn’t yours."
@syntax that's a wonderful way to look at it
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Good to hear you`re feeling better. Don`t stress that nothing has been done for you, do what you can. Oh and coffee and maybe a nibble. Take care.
@Degbeme thanks swdad

@Bexsy Have to be assertive sometimes to respect oneself, may time go by quickly for you 🫂
