You ever wonder how we only feel shame when it involves other people?

and when you're alone and do something dumb... or even "uncool", you only feel shame at the idea of others knowing

I wish... 😅 Tbh, I'm standing above myself like a relentless critic and judge. I shame myself even when other people say it's okay but to me it didn't reach the standard I had in mind. Then I shame others for having low standards too. 🙈

@Fishy I think nobody would. I think we copy these things from people we spend time with in early childhood.
