I couldn't stop myself from visibly flinching/cringing. Now i feel rude.

Was walking to the door with my pizza. Guy rushed over with a ' i got you babygirl'. i love that someone was going to get the door for me. That part? Appreciated.
But being called babygirl by a stranger?
In a relationship, sure, I could handle that.
But from someone I don’t know?
Uhm. No.

I know, I'm weird

I feel like I'd make the face.
I'm sorry you had to experience that.

Definitely too familiar and your reaction was appropriate. Good thing you weren't out with Chipper 😒😒
@TrunkZ I'm going to have to keep it hooked to my jeep

@Bexsy until they invent a pocket-sized one 😏😏

I know my wife would give a look, not a pleasant one, to "baby girl," even when she was younger.
Teslin · M
Hmmm, I agree. Babygirl is a little much.
Just4fun · 51-55, M
I don’t think that’s weird -
Neoerectus · M
No. That was weird. ..WAY too familiar.

Gives abuser/creep vibes to me. Dimunition is never a good thing.
@Neoerectus made me rush away that's for sure
FreeorLonely · 51-55, F
Ya no that’s not welcome by a stranger.
@FreeorLonely exactly sis
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
I would have called you ma’am.
@JackDaniels that's acceptable
Likestoenjoylife · 51-55, M
A little too much
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
No that is a bit cringe to call someone that.
faery · F
Over-familiar, hmm... no, thank you. Men like that are oblivious, tho
Degbeme · 70-79, M
I would have let you open the door yourself. 😬
Ambersky · 51-55, F
That’s pretty icky.
@Ambersky felt ick
