Have you ever had a work crush?

And did the work crush ever find out about it? How did that affect your working relationship?

Likewise, did you ever find out someone at work had a work crush on you? Did it affect how you worked with that person?

Yes, many. I had a relationship with a coworker, but it didn't turn out well bc he was not a match with me.

The others were harmless fun. But it was a big company with a lot of employees. The only time work interfered with fun was with my ex, it was a bit uneasy at times but I managed well because it was only via email contact.

About others having crush on me, yes couple of guys, but I didn't like them back and no it didn't affect anyone anyhow. That company was basically allowing coworker dating as long as you disclose it, but no one ever did and many people.. swapped mates, let's put it that way 😅

Work is still the top 5 place to find mates, not allowing people to date their coworkers is silly imo. We're there already 8+ hours. And with the lack of places to have fun and socialize especially with people that are above 25+, it's normal to find love where it might be available.

I’ve never had a crush on a coworker.
I’m very unaware of people who have feelings for me, unless they’re over the top, so I only know of one person who I worked with. They ended up being warned after making me feel uncomfortable many times, once in front of my boss. They apologized to me, then showed up to my boss’s house explaining that they’re married and meant nothing by it, and then he got fired.

@itsok OK. Not the best example of a harmless work crush. I perhaps should have been more detailed in my description.

I did a couple of times. One was married so I never flirted. The other was single, and we flirted back and forth regularly. He even texted me after I'd moved on to another job, and told me he would have loved if I had "rocked his world" when I had the chance. 🤣

Yes and yes 😅 Had a few flings, causing a lot of drama - don't recommend..

Yes, about 10 years ago. It was flirty and fun and eventually fizzled out. It served a time & purpose.
When I was a young adult (actually this started at 17) I got to work with my childhood crush every night, every weekend for years. One time she sent me an underwear pic. Good times. 😆

I'm not flirty at work. I keep my crushes to myself and ignore people's advances and play dumb lol it's just too messy
