Graphic design question for you all

So, I'm looking at a logo for a local café called Peachtree. The logo is the wordmark on top of the cross section of a tree, showing the tree's rings — something you can only see if the tree is cut down.

Thoughts?

Not very original or creative. More like meh but it's ok. I mean as long as their coffee is good I can overlook the logo lol
