My decision making process regarding social and economic issues.

I don't think people understand that when I support issues, I generally support certain things because of research and my own observations/experiences. I also weigh the benefits and risk of an outcome and if the benefits outweigh the risk, I'll support it.

I actually make decisions that way that are non political too.

It's others who decide that things are left or right but if the things that I mostly support are leftist, then so be it.

In the places where I have worked there are always a few people who stay behind after the close of each day to sort out things that everyone else has overlooked. Boring and mundane stuff that carries no great prestige or material reward for the individual, but which would make our workplace and society much less pleasant and easy for all if it wasn't done. That is how I decide what has real value and is worth doing.
