When and if ever you’ve had the moment of “my life just flashed before my eyes”.

Was it a moment of fear, joy, sadness, or something else?

I’ve never really experienced it… yet.

I was once going downhill with my bicycle and I am in front of what seems an inevitable fall down the cliff and time slows down and I am thinking something about angels and
"oh that was it"
like a filtered scene in a movie, they actually portray those moments pretty accurate in the movies, as we live them.
Didn't see my whole life as in pictures but I had a realisation of the wholeness of it all.
I took the turn and didn't die but things were a bit miraculous in the way they happened.
It's really difficult to recall that moment, but I remember it.

I almost drowned years ago in the pacific ocean near San Diego. I had swum out too far and got caught in a rip tide. I was starting to drown. Then I heard my friend yell, stay calm I'm coming to get you. She saved my life and my unborn daughter's.

Monday40 · 51-55, F

I wanted to go to dollar store for cleaning stuff. When I left home my truck was running fine. When I left the second red light my brakes were gone. I only had two choices or three. I could hit the elderly couple in front of me or go into Friday afternoon traffic. Instead I left the road on the right side of the road. My truck climbed an embankment and started rolling to the side. Trees and glass was breaking and I just closed my eyes. Then I thought I would never need my eyes again and I could watch what was happening. I guess I said goodbye. There was no fear and no pain. I didn’t have a single scratch. When I reached the hospital all my vitals were normal.
