Are you stuck in the past?

With some things at times. I'm not sure if it's because I failed to mature or nothing better that would surpass that emotional hype of teenage years/early 20s has come my way yet. In short, I still seek some emotional crutches that I remember from 10-12 years ago even if I know they are long gone and weren't healthy then and wouldn't be healthy now. Yet..

I would give my right arm to go back and fix my mistakes

Fairly common to think of going back- to relive or redo. But it’s important not to get stuck there because a) it’s not gonna happen and b) you’re missing the now in which you can make wonderful things happen.

It has been said that it's possible to be stuck at the age when trauma occured and it can be difficult to mature past that.

I think we all wish for a time machine. Hindsight is 20/20.

yeah, i'm stuck in the past. i can't go a day without a random wave of sadness hitting me and reminding me of how good life used to be.

impossible to to find purpose/direction if you don't know where you're coming from/already been.

No I have learned to let it Go and that is why my circle is now much smaller as well
