I probably should stop getting high but then again maybe I shouldn't.

I mean I'm at least a functional addict and have it down to a science but I should probably stop. I swear I say this all the time but never follow through.

Been there, done that. But once I turned 50, I let go of much youthful anger and began to enjoy sobriety, so it was surprisingly not that difficult to change old habits.

Now in my 60s, I rarely even think about getting high.

@Crimsondrops It helped immensely to focus on the painful things that made me feel the need to self-medicate.
