Closed captions
I will commonly watch shows with the closed captions on when I have trouble understanding what the actors are saying.
Sometimes, though, it can be frustrating. I watched a show the other night in which a couple characters were speaking in a foreign language. As is often the case, the show included subtitles translating what the characters were saying in English. However, plastered over the subtitles, mostly blocking them, was the closed caption block, which only said, "Speaking foreign language."
I guess that's a first-world problem.
