Some people have never had a car, and only use public transport. It’s unusual, but maybe knowing about motor vehicles has not been on her radar. I didn’t start driving until my late 30s. I didn’t know much about cars before then, and still don’t. I drive it, fill the gas tank, and that’s about it. As long as it gets me from A to B, I don’t know what most of the buttons do on the dashboard, but I guess I don’t need them. I know where the oil goes, but would never change it myself.
