Doctor, my eyes....

A while back, I developed floaters in both eyes — not bad, basically just enough to be annoying. A short time later, I developed a blurry spot in the center of the field of vision in my right eye.

It was worrisome, as blurriness in the center is one symptom of macular degeneration, a serious eye condition.

I got in to see my ophthalmologist pretty quickly, and it was determined that my problem was that the vitreous gel in both of my eyes had detached from my retinas. Apparently, this is quite common as we age, and as the detachment didn't damage the retinas at all, all was as good as it was going to get.

Man, I remember back to the days when my vision was better than 20/20. Aging is not for weak, let me tell you.

consider zinc. i take 11 mg zinc citrate with dinner each night. has additional benefits, and being male you should probably take at least double that, not to exceed 30 mgs a day.
