I'm not sure what zombies eat....but I will say this BS about zombies being the walking dead, feasting on human flesh is a myth.

Watch the very first movie about zombies, made in 1932....White Zombie, starring the great Bela Lugosi. The film even goes into the actual Haitian Penal Code, which addresses zombiefication, in Article 249.

So, continue to enjoy perpetuating this zombie fantasy in films, books, and general fantasy discussion.

I can't speak for zombies but that's why I do.

It was the evolution of zombie cinema. They began as living yet mindless people under voodoo spell. After Romero, they became the undead who ate flesh. In Return of the Living Dead, they introduced eating of the brain.

The idea of living dead is very old. Flesh eating living dead? Quite new. You will see in many zombie movies, they depict zombies eating any part of the flesh, not only brains. You then become one of them.

No, they eat brains because George Romero said so back in the 1970s and the concept stuck. Personally I prefer the old voodoo zombies.
