Do zombies eat brains because they’re hungry for knowledge?

I liked the take "Dead Bodies" took on it where by eating brains, the zombies got to see the memories of the person and in some ways, it becomes like an addiction.

@FoxyQueen I was thinking about a completely different movie. And you called it "Dead Bodies". You're thinking about "Warm Bodies".
When you said "Dead Bodies", I thought my movie was called that. The one I was thinking of is called Wasting Away. If anything I said above made any sense, I'd be surprised.
