@Stark I have embarrassing moments but they're all minor stuff that isn't that bad 😅 like once in high school I tried to jump & kick my friends backpack while I reached the top of the stairs. He got too far away, I kicked both feet in the air like a dumbass, & kicked absolutely nothing 😂 I landed flat on my ass.
Which would've been okay with me... If there wasn't two really cute girls behind me who started laughing 😭 I was mortified 🤣

@ChiefJustWalks omg I did something similar in highschool. 😂 my friend use to be in gymnastics so she was really flexible and she did this cool thing where she kicked one leg up super high while still standing still on her other leg. I tried to do it and somehow lifted both legs up and landed flat on my big in the gym infront of everyone 😂. I think it’s funny now but I’m sure in the moment i was super embarrassed.

@Stark You want me to write a paragraph on my eye color? 😂 This feels like a school assignment. They’re just brown, but they sometimes look greenish in certain lite. Though sometimes (rarely) I eschew the glasses and wear contacts that are blue.

@Stark I would probably fully commit to green. Like a more vibrant green. I love gray eyes, but I don’t think that would suit me.

@AllelujahHaptism well I’m not that great at school in general especially when it comes to something like exams/test(s) I get a lot of anxiety with them. The only thing I have going for me when it comes to school is organization. I’m really great with that.

Hmm...I'd say tennis. It's fun to play and fun to watch. I was sorry when my oldest nephew gave it up. I enjoyed his practice sessions at a community rec center, partly because they played a lot of classic rock and pop tunes (which I love) during the sessions. Was looking forward to playing tennis with him someday and he said he was still willing to do it, but he's spending all of his free time with his girlfriend now. Lol.

Oh yeah a paragraph
...When I was a kid growing up my younger brother played on a traveling team and a lot of the kids on his team had older sisters. Eventually they offered a girls league so I started playing too but for another city. Then I was on the first girls league my high school had on the JV team as a goalie and right defense. My sophomore year I played for the city because it was more fun than under the mean coach we had in HS, and on that team were 3 gals that were sisters of boys our kid brothers played with. It was so much fun. The next year I made the varsity team under a new HS coach so I lettered all 3 years since I was in since the beginning of the program.

I can be a bit similar when in relationships not exactly in that sense, but either way it did take someone telling me that I have to be accountable for how I react even when I’m not in the best state of mind. And that could be something as simple as stating, that you’re having a moment and you may need space because you’re aware that when you have those moments you’re probably not the best to be around. And in order to save the relationships in your life you have to be able to take responsibility for your emotions. We’re human and we’re not going to always be a 100% so I think when we realize that and become self aware of that we’re able to have healthy relationships with the people we care about and at the same learn more about ourselves and what we need to do in order to self soothe and take care of ourselves in the best way way can. I agree you can’t go back in time and fix what has already happened, but if you still want her to be in your life you should reach out to her, take accountability, be vulnerable and open about your emotions and how you feel and also devise a plan on what you’re going to do to prevent this behavior. You have to work towards healing, because you don’t want the people in your life to endure that type of treatment ❤️‍🩹

@Stark yea, the annoying thing is that I am quite self aware and I used to do that and she hated that I pushed her away. She said she wanted to be there in the good times and the bad…and now she says this. I can’t win. I think what she wants is me not to have mental health issues but that’s not going to happen. I keep reaching out and we managed to sit and talk on Tuesday and then she said give her time to think. So I’m trying to give her space. I’m no good at this stuff…all I know is that I love her and don’t want to lose her

Okay here we go
So first I see two different ways that this question can be read:
Either you are asking me if the person who I consider my best friend is a man then no they are not, my bestest buddy is a woman

However if you’re asking me if I have a best of my specifically male friends then I do, I have 2
Their names are Justin and Alex, I met them both working at a food store when we were the entire grocery department. We still see each other regularly to go the movies and stuff. I’ve been fortunate to get to see them 4 weeks in a row after a long streak of not seeing them for a month or so. Unfortunately Alex’s brother passed away so we went to the wake to support him, then the next week we saw Jurassic Park to help distract Alex from everything, this last weekend we saw Thor in theaters and this coming weekend we’re going to Justin’s for his birthday

@MellyMel22 wow, this is a very good observation to have on yourself. I feel like that’s how most of my relationships end up being tbh. I feel I have a lot of weaknesses one I’ve noticed recently is being a fixer. I need to realize it’s not my job to fix people and if they don’t want to do better for themselves I can’t really make them. 🙁 there are times k even sacrifice myself for these kind of people and it’s so unhealthy for me.

@Stark the past few years ima say my posture. I used to be really obsessed with body building and working out, I focused a lot on posture and looking my best.

Fast forward a few years and I’m catching myself slouching like I’m 85 years old. The problem

@Stark My best friend is a guy I knew in NZ who I met when I was about 12. I met up with him in 2016 after 8 years when visiting and we had lunch and walked around his city. It was very easy, like nothing had changed. I respect him very much and even though we don't chat often I know he'll be there if I need him

@Stark Well, the pain that I'm going through right now with this divorce has proven, especially early on, that no matter how strong I thought I was I barely survived. I was Iliterally brought me to my knees. The day my best friend said it was over put me in the darkest moment of my life. I hate that pain.

@Stark Yes it is. Today was session #11 of therapy and I'm doing so much better, especially the last 2 weeks. Letting go and feeling somewhat normal.

@Stark I love the Summer....there’s more daylight (even though the amount of daylight decreases each day because the first day of Summer has the most daylight, the weather ranges from warm to hot so coats aren’t needed and sometimes I can wear little or nothing while barbecuing outdoors. There are trips to the beach or the park (about the only thing I’m not too fond of is the fireworks around July 4th, as they upset the dogs).

@DragonFruit summer is fun but so hot. I agree about the fireworks for similar reason. They terrify my dog and have him barking all night 🙃 and people usually tend to drag it out and do it for days.
