I’m sorry to hear that about both your mom and ex. You possibly are so drawn to your ex because of your mom. A lot of the time we’re attracted to the same people who harmed us so poorly to try and recreate those moments in attempt to fix them and change what you couldn’t fix when in those moments of harm. The sad thing is you wouldn’t feel warmth or wanted from your ex if she treated you so poorly, and you may just be glorifying those feelings you felt with her because you’re lonely and you’re desperate for them. You definitely deserve better even if it’s hard to believe that due to your past traumas and hurt. ❤️
