I feel like when there's a special occasion people are just bullshitting each other.

On Mother’s Day, people say their wife is the best mum in the world. On Father’s Day, suddenly their husband is the best dad ever. Birthdays are the same.

Then when there’s no special occasion, it’s World War III.

That’s why I couldn’t find a card that actually suited anymore. I might as well DIY the cards myself. Atleast whatever I write will be sincere and actually mean something.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout what does the left do against Christianity, aside from refusing to force it onto everyone through law?
Well ... its not a card but we all pitched in for this sign

Luckily for me my parents were sociopaths who I despised and I don’t talk to my living relatives.

I know what you mean. I would sometimes buy blank ones now I don’t even bother.

We often use Moonpig and alter the text etc.

My kids moan because I'm a recovering alcoholic who doesn't play golf they find cards very difficult to select 😂

@OldBrit I'm actually on Moonpig creating something.😊

Perhaps there needs to be a generic greeting card for any holiday that simply says "I'll do my best to act like I don't hate you today"

I've felt this for a long while now. It's all just pretentious false accolades.
