Thanks random flashback now I'm trying not to cry.

I had a flashback to roughly 6 years old. I was at my grandparents house sitting in one of those kiddie pools those little plastic ones. I remember my grandpa trimming the hedges by the back of house. I remember eating a popsicle and my grandmother brinfing out a bucket of hot water to put in the pool for me. I just remember being so damn happy. That was by far the happiest time period of my life going to my grandparents house.

Ill never be able to get that back or be that happy ever again. My life is so damn miserable i can barely remember the last time i had true happiness

I get those flashbacks too, actually just like yours, at my grandparents house in a backyard kiddie pool.

I try to reach out and grab that experience, hold onto it tight and never let it go. But it always slips through my fingers, leaving me feeling so bereft.

My memory like that is of racing a friend when I was 6. It meant the world to me and still does, that one memory. I've done my best and so often that I file these memories away as a job well done.

Have you considered getting a lbit larger plastic pool, and a pop cycle, sitting in it with the pop cycle and a pitcher of hot water and enjoying the pleasure of just being?
