You know, do regular American citizens...

Grasp that the world is watching our midterm elections?

Do they grasp why the world is watching?

These are rhetorical questions. I know the answers.

The really sad thing is either the Republicans will win, or they'll refuse to believe they lost.
The will be no winners I'm afraid
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Convivial You certainly are not wrong.

@Convivial Trump still thinks he won. The fact though, is that he lives in Florida, not the White House, and that's what counts.

90% of people in "the world" HATE and I mean rabidly despise Americans some of which are pouring into this country unvetted and unopposed DAILY and will soon be voting in liberal utopias such as NYC to disenfranchise YOU. The world needs to get their sheet in order and leave us alone because this is not the United States of the World it is a REAL COUNTRY and not a globalist pet project exclusive economic zone and we are going to SAVE THIS COUNTRY from the Demons and the RINOs and it's going to be so great!!!

@MalteseFalconPunch Hes talking about the DEMONS😋
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@MalteseFalconPunch No, of course not.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@scrood so true... The right to shoot anyone that disagrees with you
It’s not only a right, but the duty of every citizen in our democracy. 🇺🇸🗳👍🏻
DDonde · 31-35, M
@Convivial When we say we live in a democracy, that's more of a shorthand for "democratic country". I don't know of any country that is a literal democracy in the classical sense.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@Vivaci yes, agreed...I hope people vote to protect it
Convivial · 26-30, F
@DDonde in the classical sense, you and the Greek republic are very similar I thought, in that you both gifted for others to do the voting... Where as most democratic countries vote directly for the people standing... And I admit I'm on shaky ground with this

People in Canada are watching.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Degbeme According to lots of Canadians on twitter, yes.

Also Norway is apparently covering it among others. Stingy old man. 🤣
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@JaggedLittlePill I don`t even watch Canadian elections. 😂
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Degbeme Sure all the people I know and its on the CBC
Spumoni · 46-50, M
I just dropped my ballot off
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Spumoni Good Job!
diablo · 51-55, M
Preach, sister!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Whodunnit · M
Truth be told, I don't think the rest of the world has either noticed, understands, or particularly cares.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Whodunnit Well, your guess is wrong. The world is watching and they are talking about it all over social media. I don't talk out my ass.
Whodunnit · M
@JaggedLittlePill That's the thing with social media, the algorithms show you want it thinks you want to see. You're seeing it because it's something you are particularly interested in.

In my case it's not appearing anywhere on any of my social media feeds, my family are not talking about it, my friends are not talking about it, work colleagues are not talking about, and we're talking about in the real world too, not just online.

It just really doesn't mean much of anything to normal, average, everyday people outside of the US.
DDonde · 31-35, M
I didn't write on this post during the election but what I wanted to say at the time is that I vote for my state and my country and not because of any foreign opinion abroad.
