What food do you dislike making from scratch the most?

I enjoy making many foods from scratch

I think the only thing I wouldn't like to make from scratch would be liver and onions.

Tried to cook tonight. Yuck.
I used to love baking cakes and cookies...but have not made anything in a very long time.

There are a few that are REALLY labor intensive...I would say that Turkey Croquettes tops the list. You have to finely dice the leftover turkey, and mix it with THICK white sauce, and refrigerate it. When it is quite cold, you roll it into large balls and flour, egg and crumb each ball, and then you have to fry them up...and THEN you have to make a thinner white sauce to pour over the top.

Frying eggplant to make a casserole of eggplant Parmagiana is equally labor intensive...and then there is making Lasagna from scratch...

Cheese sauce. I hate grating the cheese.

Same for me 🤦‍♂. Hardly ever do it anymore .

Baking with yeast so I don't do it. But I love yeast-based cakes and pizza if done right.

Same. It's the mess afterwards tbh

Quiche. It is delicious but there are limits
