Do you know how to improvise?

My husband is good. He used our kitchen scissors as pliers and misplaced it. He used a baking tray as pan on a gas stove to sear meat. Good the tray didn't get destroyed. He also used my glass prep bowl to heat up something on the gas stove too so it broke.🙄

Why not just think and use proper materials?🤔 Life would be so much wonderful.😊

Makes me shop for these things again.

No with my OCD and our daughter's special needs we have to have a plan every day.

Maybe he needs a kitchen education? My mother taught me how to cook before going away to school. Also how to iron shirts and sew buttons which paid my beer tabs!

The EX used to grab our VERY expensive THICK brand new PALE seafoam blue bath towels and used them to clean his motorcycle. UNTIL I told him how much EACH towel cost. Then, belatedly, he began to use the dogs beach towels to perform the same function.
He probably didn't want to dirty so many pots and pans.
You could do that to him too: "Sorry I used your arse. I couldn't find the dart board".

Why would he? Doesn't he know he'll destroy the stuff?
GunFinger · F
@Sapio i have no idea. Probably because they are within his reach.

@GunFinger ah, that makes sense but still, he should be more selective with what he uses things for.
GunFinger · F
@Sapio I told him the same thing.

Maybe explain to him the difference between improvise and "winging it". On the other hand... you do get to go shopping.
GunFinger · F
@Ontheroad maybe I used the wrong word.😂

All the time - when you live far from the city and things break down. Your not going to waste half a day for a tool or part. You make what you need to get the job done.

Far too simple...
Ummm. Not real smart.
