I will never understand the frenzied shopper thing...

Why would anyone want to go shopping in a center where there's no parking left it's so full? Jam packed, making a big shitty mess, angry... Are people enjoy this?

So heres the thing....the mall ain't a location it a full blown spiritual practice.

They gotta Food court, mmmkay. That’s my reward system. My version of balance. Yes, I spent too much, but I also got orange chicken, so who’s really winning here? 🤔

@Punxi I used to love getting an Orange Julius.. (strangely another Orange food lol) They were soo good. I think they shut down a few years ago. :(

@Baybreeze I love Orange Julius! They have them in Southern California but inside a Dairy Queen.

@Punxi Oh wow that's awesome! So at least they still exist lol.
This is why Amazon is thriving

@BiasForAction all us hermits
My mom used to live near the Walmart where an employee was trampled to death by a crowd of roughly 2,000 shoppers, trying to be the first to get into the store on Black Friday.

Sheer insanity.

@OlderSometimesWiser I remember hearing about that... So sad to not value a humans life over a bargain. You'd think we'd learn our lesson

I never understood it at all. Unless it is something that draws people to feel miserable in the company of others who are also miserable.
