We were broke when we married, so every meal was the cheapest possible. We had one of those same meals Monday evening, so we still eat our "poor man's" food. It's still good and reasonably cheap.

Stews, Soups, Casseroles, and things like this. We were poor most of our lives. Now we do ok, but this is still how we eat. I think it is mostly a comfort thing.🤔

Poor or not, I doubt I would change the way I eat much at all. I like the foods I like - everything from PB&J and mac-n-cheese to Filet Mignon and lobster. 🤷🏼‍♀
