What do you dislike?

Mine is when you explain something to someone and they say, "so what you're saying is -"

I often end up trying to correct something I didn't even say. I have a work colleague who is good at this. 🐄
Don't get me wrong, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this phrase is sometimes used to slightly twist your argument and misrepresents your point. It's like a conversational speed bump that can feel patronising because they seem to be watering down what you say.

I also dislike pineapple.

My niece was trying to explain the color of hair, one of her friend has. She kept trying to describe it and not well. After a minute or two my husband just asked her. Are you trying to say that the drapes don't match the carpet? She was so embarrassed. 😂
I don't dislike much but i like you...

I do like pineapple but isn't not good for you too much sugar 😋

I dislike that too, the first thing, being misunderstood is one of the most exacerbating thing.
I would love having a meaningful conversation with you it would be so much fun...

Yup...a common way to win an argument... Put words in your mouth and then demand you justify them... Meanwhile your original topic is left high and dry...
