What do you dislike?

Mine is when you explain something to someone and they say, "so what you're saying is -"

I often end up trying to correct something I didn't even say. I have a work colleague who is good at this. 🐄
Don't get me wrong, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this phrase is sometimes used to slightly twist your argument and misrepresents your point. It's like a conversational speed bump that can feel patronising because they seem to be watering down what you say.

I also dislike pineapple.

Yup...a common way to win an argument... Put words in your mouth and then demand you justify them... Meanwhile your original topic is left high and dry...
