I wouldn't say they did. It's not that I would have to compromise between many things and prioritize one over another. My life is slow, simple and uneventful. If there's one thing I prioritize, it's familiar over unknown and that hasn't changed yet.

@CrazyMusicLover makes sense. Slow and steady wins the race.

@Mellowgirl One thing crossed my mind though. I noticed that I prioritize comfort and practicality over aesthetics much more than I used to. Especially when it comes to clothes and shoes.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@CrazyMusicLover that's a good thing. I noticed the other day a pair of shoes I was wearing felt a little larger than I remember. Walking wasn't as comfortable as it should have been and every step was noticeable.
When we have things good we take it for granted.
That lesson is one I will not suffer again

Vastly according to each point in my life. My priorities when I was 21 are vastly different than my priorities now.

@JimboSaturn I hear you. Don't worry I wasn't judging you or anything. It was more just a thought to expand. I think about this in regards to myself also. Much like you I partied in my younger years (not that I'm old) but I started partying from around 15 and by the time I got to 25 I was slowing down as the scene got boring. So now in my 30s having children, yes I still like to go out but I don't mind missing things because this is my new enjoyable priority.
I may have felt differently, if I didn't have those years prior.

@Mellowgirl exactly!

@JimboSaturn had to edit my text as I realised I didn't write exactly what I meant. But the message I think is still the same

Everything i do is for my family now to make sure they are ok and have everything they need incase something happens to me
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Cigarguy I like and appreciate that. I think your family will see the value in all you do. Even if it's not perfect but if the care and dedication is there they most certainly feel it

I was selfish when I was younger. Much less so now.

Where I focus my energy and to whom.

They’ve changed in just the past year, actually.
Ducky · 31-35, F
@Mellowgirl In a lot of ways, but the biggest one being leaving my spouse and being in a loving, healthy relationship with my current partner.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Ducky that's always a good one. No-one wants to be somewhere they are not loved, liked or appreciated.
Ducky · 31-35, F
@Mellowgirl That's exactly what it was. And I've been much happier since leaving. Thank you.

It was pizza but now it's KFC!
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Allelse is there a reason you've started trolling?
Allelse · 36-40, M
