How about just let people eat?
If they buy steak, people complain.
If they buy luxuries like snack foods, people complain.
No one scrutinizes the shopping cart of people not on SNAP. Why do we feel entitled to judge those on it? How about we all just mind our own business and focus on what's in our own shopping cart?

@Adrift Crappy food is cheap. Healthy food is expensive. The poor have neither the money or the time to not buy inexpensive food that is quick to make as opposed to healthy food that is more expensive and takes more time to make.
Want poor people to eat healthy? Find ways to make food cheaper and more accessible to everyone one. Regulate prices of food so everyone can afford to eat. These are things we can do but refuse to because of the capitalist "free market".
Don't blame the poor because crappy food is cheap. Blame businesses and the government for not making food less expensive and easy to get.
