Hence I am subscribed to the ad less version of the apps I use.

SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
I am not, for I rarely receive them.

I have a robust ad blocker on my web browser.

I don't have cable TV

I pay for Netflix to be ad free.

I highly recommend the experience, its like avoiding second hand smoke or lots of sugar. You just feel better in a general sense without the guilt and expectations of advertising interfering with your thoughts.

I wonder, are you going to use the trick of logging out and then reading the answers to these to see all the people you've blocked answering your question? I'm hoping so. Because I've got a few things to say to you.

First of all, you voted for this situation in which we all find ourselves, including excessive ads everywhere. That's where unregulated capitalism gets you.
bowman81 · M
They don't bother me near as much as the endless stream of robo calls on my landline.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Very much so.
HumanEarth · F
I never see them on-line.

As for television, I have to deal with over the air network television programming. We still use a roof antenna for television.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
How ironic, a MAGA fan that doesn't want to support capitalism. 😭

Are we finally concluding that socialism is better if imperfect? 🤷🏻‍♂

Do you really think Trump would ever ban his own products from being advertised? Or even his billionaire friends products? 😆

Hey Musk, you hear this? He doesn't want you to advertise. 😂

Might as well even drop X (aka Twitter).

Same for you on Truth social Trump! Dump the advertising.
Yep, especially in mobile games. First a 30 second video, then a 15 second "playable" ad that often just opens the store no matter where you tap, and then a title screen you can't close until 5 seconds have passed.
I have been for years. It's too much.

Some channels shorten programs so they can stuff in more ads. It's sickening.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
On my phone.
Sroonaka616 · 31-35, M
Yes i do get annoyed by evasive amounts of adverts.
shinyplasticlove · 51-55, M
I have commercial free Youtube. I am so sick of all the prescription medical commercials on tv.
Wizardry · 46-50, M
Can vary for me. There a few on TV which are annoying
hunkalove · 70-79, M
I haven't owned a TV in 17 years and I try to avoid buying anything that is advertised on the Internet.
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
I listen to the radio during the day. A lot of the ads are stupid. They don't hold up under close scrutiny.

For example. There is Walls ice cream ad that describes Cornetto as deliciously melty laugh out loud heaven on a stick. Cornetto doesn't have a stick. You would think the manufacturers would know that.
Allelse · 36-40, M
Eh. I grew up watching ads on tv so I just mute and tune out like always.
FreestyleArt · 36-40, M
From Google yes
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Well, you get nothing for free

It is as simple as that
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
@nedkelly i agree. They are annoying but they paying for us to have free content.
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
Yes i find them irritating and most nonsensical
TheYawnArchive · 46-50, M
I proactively avoid them like the plague.
Sometimes. There are ways to get rid of them.
DDonde · 31-35, M
Yeah, I hate ads. Especially sound/video ads
Yes and they need to be purged
