How did you overcome your fear of the dark?

I never really had one. I am, however, afraid of the unknown. I can comfortably walk around in the dark in a place I'm familiar with. But if I, for whatever reason, had to enter a dark place with zero lighting, I'd be crawling out of my skin. It's not a fear of the dark, it's a fear of not knowing what's there.

I'm much more scared of standing in the light surrounded by the darkness in an open space unprotected.

By being the thing that is feared in the dark

just become so depressed that the thought of a monster getting you sounds like a relief

Spend more time in the dark until its not scary anymore
