I was a watching video on YouTube where these girls were performing on got talent show in Malta and I heard some English words from the judges.

I wouldn't doubt it. English is a popular second language around the world and especially in Europe. It often gets taught in schools as an elective or even sometimes as a mandatory foreign language course
