I'm hoping you don't drink because that would really add to the depression. I know someone in my family that doesn't drink but they mix their regular prescription drugs with marijuana and that sure doesn't work. And also mixing alcohol with drugs wouldn't work. That would just make the matters worse so I pray that you're staying away from those things because sometimes those drugs that the doctor gives, can really mess your mind up and in fact ruined a member of my family, such a beautiful girl and it's so sad. I know they've got a new program out where you can go to this facility and this new medicine helps change your whole life. It took this one young male from like zero desire to live, to a completely changed person, to where he is totally happy now, so there is help out there.

I attempted this last spring but my Dr had adjusted my meds and I was so very sick

yeah, my mom killed herself when I was growing up
it was a combination of depression and mental illness.
all of those reasons were probably in her head.

@SW-User it was tough at the time and I acted out. I came to terms with it after about 15 or 20 years. Actually forgave her when I came to understand how bad off she was and that death was easier than living.

@Pretzel I understand how she felt

@SW-User I'm sorry for your pain Sophie. The holidays don't help either - everybody expecting you to ho-ho-ho.
