scorpiolovedeep We had our new neighbors over for dinner one night. The wife was one of those women who never stops talking and has to be in charge. She asked what she could do to help which is only polite etiquette, and the offer was appreciated. My wife said she had everything under control -- she had been a professional chef, after all -- and just enjoy your drink and we can converse while I put the finishing touches on dinner. (We had an open kitchen off a great room, so easy to do.)
But the woman kept persisting, and finally got up and headed into the kitchen area looking for something to do. My wife had either a chef's knife or a Chinese cleaver in her hand, turned and said very slowly, enunciating every word "Get. . . Out. . . Of. . . My. . . Kitchen".
Her husband -- who was not as tone deaf as she -- thankfully pulled her back before I could scramble to intercede.
