When I was in school, none of us had phones, we didn't have computers in the classroom, and NONE of the teachers were activists or even remotely interested in politics. AND we actually LEARNED stuff...like how to read and write and do basic math. In my case...it stopped at algebra. (Everything else after that was too hard).

Teachers were authority. You couldn't get away with half the nonsense my kids did just a generation later.
And by all accounts it's just got worse with all the political interference and desperation to blame outside influences rather than idiot or absent or incapable parents and extended family.

..it all begins with licensing... potential parents should be required by law to prove that they are capable of procreating intelligently and competently raising children before a government license is granted to them to go forth and multiply.

...therein lies the problem with the whole world. We end up with parents raising children they had no business conceiving in the first place, then teaching them nothing more than the parents know themselves, which is why the entire evolutionary process has not evolved much since the days of the caveman.

Everyone today is addicted to their cellphone and social media compared to when I was last in school, which means today's teenagers are socially inept compared to yesterday's teenagers who didn't use electronic hand-held devices to communicate with each other. Instead, we met face to face and talked.

In my day schools taught the truth. Today they teach a made up liberal fantasy. My friends daughter came home from school and said that America forced Japan to attack Pearl Harbor because we dropped an atomic bomb on them. 🤦🏻♂ Everyone knows that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor 3 years before the atomic bomb was even invented.
