Well mistakes are an opportunity for seeing what you did wrong and learning from it. What do you do? Can you ask a colleague for help?

@PatientlyWaiting25 I'm back being a line cook again. I've been out of the game awhile and it shows

@separatetheheart you will get more confidence with time. I imagine theres a lot of timing and routine so once you know your routine you will be fine

@separatetheheart oh who knows
You're expecting yourself to be perfect 100% of the time - then punishing yourself when you fall short.
You might want to try to let go of those little "Oops" moments, if only because it prevents the cascade of multiples that follows.

@HootyTheNightOwl I'm not against making mistakes but I'm against making them at work which could lead to me being fired.
@separatetheheart Unless it's something monumental, they aren't going to fire you over one small mistake here and there.
Once you set off the cascade effect of back to back mistakes, though... that's going to get you noticed. You need to be keeping your cool so you don't repeat those mistakes - even if it does mean letting go of that one thing that you did do wrong.
