Would you let a son or daughter over 18 still live in your house or would you urge them to find a place asap?
If they were helping with some utilities?

I didn't kick either of my kids out. I don't understand parents who do this. You had the kids, and now that they are legal adults you're just going to ignore the fact they are your kids? Some parents have zero love.
Now, if my kids were stagnating and having trouble finding their way in the world, i still wouldn't kick them out, but would certainly be haiving long talks about where they aren't going and help them make a plan to where they want to be. Currently doing this with my son.
