When you have to put your hand down the garbage disposal do you watch the switch carefully like it’s going to magically turn on?

I look around to make sure someone else doesn't come up to turn it on. As if they'd fall to see me there with my hand down it. I even do that when I'm alone in the house. Like a ghost might turn it on. Or I could do something to stop a ghost.

My trashcan doesn't have a switch so I don't need to worry about that. #IAmTooEuropeanForThis

Sure. I mean, I unplug the disposal before I put my hand it it, but yeah, I keep an eye on the switch, too.

No, I just make sure nobody else is anywhere near that switch and I do what needs to be done as quickly as possible.
