What advice would you try giving to somebody who might of lost at their very first competition or they came in last place?

Either if you were a coach or a parent or just trying to "help" in a way?

Played on a little league team one year we were 1-15 was awful our coach said we were young and the other teams had older experienced players just have fun great guy
